Join us for an exciting one-day experience designed for parent-child pairs to explore the world of artificial intelligence together.

Hosted at Griffin Hall on the campus of 91成人导航, this event blends interactive workshops, collaborative projects, and expert-led sessions. It鈥檚 the perfect opportunity for families to build new skills, gain exposure to cutting-edge technology, and strengthen intergenerational bonds.

OUR SPEAKERS

Shannon Eastep.聽Shannon is a Teaching Professor and Instructional Technology Coordinator in 91成人导航鈥檚 College of Education. With 21 years of experience at 91成人导航, she specializes in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning. Shannon has presented at numerous conferences on topics such as online engagement, robotics, course accessibility, and artificial intelligence. She is passionate about integrating artificial intelligence into education and has been invited to speak at area K-12 schools and university workshops on practical strategies for utilizing AI tools in the classroom. She is currently teaching a combined undergraduate and graduate course on AI in Education.

Teresa Evans.聽Dr. Teresa Evans is a scientist and strategist known for connecting science with business to drive innovation in healthcare and biosciences. She specializes in biomedical commercialization, clinical research, DoD initiatives, and STEM workforce development. Named to San Antonio鈥檚 鈥40 Under 40,鈥 Dr. Evans has published peer-reviewed research and led projects funded by the NIH and private foundations. As Chief Science Strategist at TiER1 Performance Solutions, she shapes strategy in pharma R&D, clinical trials, and medical affairs. She previously held executive roles in a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), a Technology Accelerator, and Academia.聽

Kevin Kirby.聽In addition to being the dean of the 91成人导航 College of Informatics, Kevin is the Evan and Lindsay Stein Professor of Biocomputing. His primary research area has been in artificial neural networks, and he won the Mathematical Association of America鈥檚 George Polya award for a paper connecting AI to the classical art of memory and the mathematics of quantum mechanics. He has given lectures on AI at a variety of places over the years, including Seoul National University (1991), the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne (2006), and the Cincinnati Woman鈥檚 Club (2017). He is a member of the Cincinnati AI Catalyst, and organization whose goal is to make the Cincinnati region a hub for Responsible AI.

A self-taught developer turned tech strategist, she has led cross-functional teams and delivered innovative solutions for companies like Procter & Gamble and Fifth Third Bank. Passionate about user-centered design and emerging tech like Generative AI, she drives real business impact. Stephanie is dedicated to democratizing technology, aiming to blur the line between creatives and tech professionals to empower broader access and opportunity.聽
